BMC has unveiled three new bikes for model year 2015, including a brand new cyclo-cross bike and additions to its race-oriented Altitude series and Granfondo range of endurance bikes.

oadCyclingUK attended the unveiling of the new bikes in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, which included the Team Machine SLR03, a Granfondo GF02 with carbon chassis and rim brake, and the Cross Machine CX01.

You can read our ‘first ride’ report on the following pages.
BMC’s senior technicians revealed details of a proprietary software package that produced 34,000 iterations of a virtual frame en route to a blueprint for the new bikes. They described the brand’s carbon production facility at its Grenchen HQ in which prototypes are manufactured, and a testing protocol that has included feedback from BMC Racing’s Cadel Evans, Philippe Gilbert, and Tejay Van Garderen.
BMC has pledged to release pricing details of the new models at the Eurobike show in August. The brand’s senior executives will also host a seminar on the opening day of the show titled, ‘The future of performance road cycling’.
RCUK will attend Eurobike and bring you further updates to BMC’s plans for model year 2015. For now, we’ll report our findings from the press camp in Lenzerheide.
